Mission & Values

Our mission is to preserve and protect the historical and cultural heritage site that is Camp Namanu; supporting its legacy and educational value for future generations while maintaining its natural beauty and fostering a sense of community and stewardship.

National Register of Historic Places

In 2024, after dedicated work by Nancy King and support from Restore Oregon's Preservation Together Program, Camp Namanu was added the National Register of Historic Places.

This designation helps protect the property and supports the preservation and improvement of the site, including historically significant buildings and structures.
